Graphic Designer · Winter Garden, Florida

About

I’m a graphic designer currently in my final year at Florida Gulf Coast University, majoring in Digital Media Design with a minor in Marketing.

I work across brand identity, packaging, editorial and campaign design. Studying design and marketing together has taught me to think about the audience, the message and the objective behind a piece of work as well as its visual execution — and I like the projects where those things have to line up.

I’m currently looking for a junior graphic design role in Southwest Florida, the Orlando area, or remote.

How she works

In her words

My design style stems from following whatever catches my eye. Things like beautiful typography, interesting shapes, places I've been, things I've collected and little details that stay with me.

Composition
I tend to focus on the rule of thirds to create balanced and intentional compositions. Positioning the key elements in a way that guides the viewer's eye creates a sense of movement and hierarchy.
Color psychology
I use color intentionally to influence mood and emotion. My color choices help communicate the feeling or atmosphere I wanted the viewer to experience.
Contrast
I use contrast through lighting, shadows and changes in value to create depth and visual interest. Strong contrasts can draw attention to specific elements.
Negative space
I use negative space to give important elements room to breathe and to naturally frame the focal point.
Typography
I love to experiment with different font styles that match my personality. I love the variation in font choices throughout my projects.
Colors
The colors I'm attracted to are in a tropical color palette. I use more neutrals as a base, then build on that base with fun pops of reds, oranges, yellows, blues and greens.
